Uniforms

There have been some questions and concerns on the cleaning of uniforms. The uniforms were cleaned prior to the season’s beginning, but they have not been cleaned since unless a parent took the uniform top home and cleaned it by hand or paid to have it dry cleaned (which several parents did).

Veterans Day Parade

Students and Parents,

Here is some very important information about the Veterans Day Parade on Friday, Nov 11th:

See me (Kilgore) for a copy of the music for the parade and begin learning it on your own IMMEDIATELY!
We have very limited time to rehearse (just 2 weeks) before the event and we will need to memorize the music.

Parade Rehearsals for Veterans Day:
Monday, 11/7 @ FCHS 4-6
Tuesday 11/8 @ South Central from 4:30-7

* Students will need to secure their own transportation to rehearsal at SCHS as well as to and from the parade on Friday! It would be wise to carpool!

Practice Schedule and Ragsdale

Tuesday: Normal Practice Schedule 4-6
Wed: No practice
Thursday: Practice 1pm-3pm.
Friday: Loading truck at 5pm.

Everyone is expected to be there to load the truck- we will be done quickly if we have enough hands.

We will need to arrive at school on Saturday no later than 7:30am.
We must leave between 8:30am and 9:00am in order to make our call time in Greensboro.
We will be back very late from Ragsdale (2:00am)

The weather forecast is cold
Daytime high forecast is 57 degrees
Nighttime low forecast is 35
