May 8th- Spring Rookie Camp - 4:00 - 5:30pm - report to the band room and to Mr. Kilgore
May 10th - Colorguard auditions after school ... see Mr. Kilgore for more information
May 10th - Texas Roadhouse fundraiser night - if you can attend please do - this will be a fundraiser for FCHS that night
May 11th - head count and monies due for the banquet.
May 12th - Car wash fundraiser at Texas Roadhouse. All hands on deck for this one.

The Spring Concert was on March 8, 2012 in the auditorium.
The program featured the Orchestra, Combined Symphony Orchestra, Concert Band and the Jazz Band.
The Orchestra preformed works by L. Gabrielle and W. A. Mozart.
The Combined Symphony Orchestra played an Isaac arrangement of Rimsy-Korsakov's Fandango and Alborada
The Concert Band preformed works by Darren Jenkins, Ed Kimbrough, Pierre Leemans, Shelly Hanson and a James Swearington arrangement of America the Beautiful.
The Jazz Band played a number of standards arranged by Frank Mantooth.
There is a Band Booster meeting on Feb. 13th at 7pm in the Band Room.
We have several fundraising events coming up and it will need the attention of all students and parents.
Nominations are needed for our 2012-2013 officers. I have had 2 official nominations. There are 4 offices to fill, so we need 2 more.
We need these filled. We risk losing our charter if we do not have a full office.
Jazz Band will be playing at Barnes and Noble on February 23rd. Arrival time is 5:30pm, we will play at 6pm.
If you need transportation, make sure that Mr. Kilgore knows this in advance.
Any student who is interested in auditioning for Drum Major or Section Leader for the 2012-2013 school year should see Mr. Kilgore for an application.
Forms are due no later than Friday, Feb 17th at 4pm.
Interviews will be scheduled after the 17th and will take place after school.
Any student who is involved in the All County Band this year needs to pick up a Registration Packet from my office.
The forms and registration fees are due no later than Monday, Feb 6th at 4pm.

Remember that fundraisers are vital to our marching band program!
Spring is coming up and Mr. Kilgore will be looking at new competition music, competition fees and bus costs.
We are working on an Auction - more information to come
Car washes are great fundraisers. Two businesses have been suggested, Advanced Auto in Farmville and Sam's Club in Winterville, any other suggestions?
